1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using GoMovers services (operated by SAFETRANS GEORGE LTD), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.
2. Services Description
GoMovers provides professional removal and relocation services including:
- House removals
- Office relocations
- Packing services
- Man and van services
- Storage solutions
All services include dismantling and reassembling furniture, and packing services (materials charged separately).
3. Booking and Quotations
- All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
- Quotations are based on the information provided by the customer
- Final charges may vary if actual requirements differ from initial information
- A deposit of 25% is required to confirm bookings
- Full payment is due upon completion of service
4. Pricing and Payment
Our pricing structure includes:
- Base service charges as quoted
- VAT at the current rate (20%)
- Additional charges for packing materials if requested
- Overtime charges for services exceeding booked duration
Payment methods accepted: Cash, Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Cards
5. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 48+ hours before service: Full refund of deposit
- Cancellations made 24-48 hours before service: 50% refund of deposit
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before service: No refund
- GoMovers reserves the right to cancel services due to unsafe conditions
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
- Provide accurate information about items to be moved
- Ensure clear access at both pickup and delivery locations
- Inform us of any parking restrictions or access issues
- Be present or have a representative at collection and delivery
- Disconnect and prepare appliances for moving
7. Liability and Insurance
- GoMovers maintains comprehensive insurance coverage
- Basic liability coverage included in all services (up to £40,000)
- Additional insurance available upon request
- Claims must be reported within 7 days of service completion
- We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to items
- Damage to items packed by customer
- Loss of data from electronic devices
- Damage due to inherent defects in items
8. Prohibited Items
We cannot transport:
- Hazardous materials or chemicals
- Firearms, ammunition, or explosives
- Illegal substances
- Live plants or animals (except by special arrangement)
- Perishable goods
- Cash, jewelry, or valuable documents (unless declared)
9. Driver Requirements
Owner-drivers partnering with GoMovers must:
- Hold valid UK driving license and insurance
- Maintain vehicles in roadworthy condition
- Comply with all traffic and safety regulations
- Undergo background checks (DBS)
- Maintain professional standards of service
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be:
- First addressed through our customer service team
- If unresolved, subject to mediation
- Governed by the laws of England and Wales
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
